The seal tester is connected to a test chamber specially designed to hold the package to be tested. The package is placed in the test chamber to be vacuumed. Dual sensor technology is used not only to monitor vacuum but also to monitor vacuum changes over a predetermined test period. Changes in absolute vacuum and vacuum differential pressure indicate leaks and defects in the current packaging. This testing method is suitable for offline laboratory operation and data process control of quality assurance/quality control department. The whole process only takes a short time, the test results are very objective, and the test is nondestructive to the product and packaging.
